Developing critical thinking practices among young learners through mathematics education is a topic of attention for research community. Learners’ concerning cognitive and social aspects their have been explored in several studies. However, learners’ personal beliefs about learning process not received much consideration. In this paper, practice with critically potential to suggest changes based on expressed mathematics. Learners eighth ninth grade two Norwegian schools responded questionnaire were interviewed gather opinions process. Data analysis indicates that seldom think critically, hold inconsistent its Moreover, they struggle observe own hesitate suggesting alternatives make meaningful them. Consequently, attitude towards order gain meta-perspective contexts does seem be evolving effectively. if are encouraged education, contributing improve becomes visible.
